Cameras aboard JAMSTEC's Hyper-Dolphin ROV have captured footage of something strange lurking on the floor of Sagami Bay, southwest of Tokyo.
Giant sea frog? Ningen? Smiling rock with sea sponge eyes? You be the judge.
That is creepy!
I think it's simply an inanimate object of some kind, like machine debris covered in rust that makes it look less mechanic.

Looks a bit like some weird shark, possible related or just similar to the megamouth shark.

I bet it`s just a stone with two little snails on it, making it look like two eyes.
Looks like a giant isopod covered in mud.
It looks almost like a Fu dog statue, covered in mud & debris. Maybe someone long ago made an offering of a statue, & this is what it looks like now?
It looks like a dead baluga whale to me.
