Kyoteizinc: Chiptune disco video
08 May 2008

Omodaka, a creative project adopting a self-described “trial and error process of mutational fusion of music and motion graphics,” has a new video for chiptune disco track “Kyoteizinc,” which features the captivating computer-tweaked dance of Masako Yasumoto. (Watch it.)
The video is directed by Hiroshi Kizu. Omodaka is on Tokyo-based independent label Far East Recording.

Wow, it’s like Rubber Johnny, but made even more disturbing by the fact that it’s a fairly attractive woman rather than a hydroencephalic Aphex Twin monster.

Wow! That is amazing – I had to write up a quick post about this with all of the information I could find – I’m definitely going to be keeping an eye out for the director, Hiroshi Kizu, and of course Masako Yasumoto… Good stuff…

music gets annoying after awhile but the dancing is pretty cool

I’m sorry, but this is _not_ chiptune music.. it’s just some crappy 90’s style breakbeat, with some automated glitchy sounds.
the video is neat, though..
