"I am in danger. You are in danger. Japan is in danger. Protect yourself with yellow."

So reads the text on a billboard advertisement at the west exit of Shinjuku station, the latest in a series of Norton Symantec security software ads starring multi-talented otaku idol Shokotan.

Yellow suits her well.

Norton's rubbish

Definitely not a fan of Norton, but that's pretty good marketing. I'm not sure what kinda reputation Norton has in Japan, but it definitely can't go wrong with Shokotan.

That's a bit of a mistranslation. "????" can mean either "in danger" or "dangerous", with context being the decider. In this case, it's pretty clear that they mean "I am in danger. You are in danger. Japan is in danger."

I agree w/ xorsyst. Norton isn't very good, but this is good marketing. Japan gets such great marketing all over the place. Very creative. Here in the US marketing tends to be very bland.

Norton Fighter! Round 2?
It's a pity Norton is such heavyweight junk it weighs your machine down to the point of unusability.
Much like Shoko-tan in a hazmat suit.
