Police in Nagasaki, Japan have arrested a man for developing a sophisticated robotic arm that uses a mouse and keyboard to autonomously Digg stories around the clock. Watch the "news report" for footage of the machine in action.

I assume he was arrested for something else, and when the police eventually entered his apartment, they discovered this robotic monstrosity, causing them a certain amount of dismay until they eventually figured out what it was doing.
Clearly this is a tour-de-force done for fun, since it all could have been done in software much more quickly and easily.
