This was a great read. Different countries have their own cryptoids but if you compare some of them, they mostly resemble each other like the yeti and big foot. I just noticed that America (especially the northern part) is the most skeptic when it comes to these things. Not that there's anything wrong with that since it helps motivate believers to find solid evidence. Coming from the East, I remember experiences my aunts and uncles used to tell as they lived in the province. We have something similar to the kappa but without the water factor. Child-like and small, only appearing at night. Oh and it was raining when my uncle saw them. So I guess they're like kappa. There are still a lot of places unexplored like the deepest parts of the sea and...outer space. How cool (and terrifying) would it be if these creatures turn out to be real?

I never believed in these creatures especially here in Haiti they always claim that they are spirits or "energy" entities. Without meaning it I came across the exact description of a Kappa. We were camping near a lake to be known for its mysterious lights appearing which we saw eventually in the mountains, but what we didn't expect was what I saw last night.

As we were half awake trying to see more lights appearing, a loud splash was heard about 20 meters away and I saw two dark creatures looking like thin small humans running at shore. When I stood up to have a closer look, they jumped into the water. They kept splashing and a third one appeared they kept swimming around very fast and then came towards us. I became very scared as we didn't have anyting to defend ourselves, but when close by they looked at us and left again into the water only their heads covered.

When I came back I was frantically looking in the internet and found this site. When I read about the child-like behavior, I remembered that when we approached our campsite at dusk we heard children bathing in the water, but we could not see them coming our way as we approached, we asumed that they hid in the nearby forest. But then I figured that at that time no children bathe in the lake.

I am blessed to have seen those creatures, they are rare but REAL.

These stories are probably just tall tales for children. I mean come on, look at all the technology we have now, we should be able to find something. There has to be fossils or something left behind like the dinosaurs. Search the places they were last spotted and even check previous areas of the sightings. Come on people, get real.

That Mt.Tsurugi Giant snake appearance is quite similar to the story that my grandmother told me when i was a kid. But it was in the north part of Thailand in my home town, there're 2 story the first one is in the stormy night, in the river near the house the people around the river see the body of a giant snake like with the black scale width about telephone pole slithered in the river and gone inside the small cave beside the river. Nobody dare to enter that cave and when time pass the cave was covered. The other one was happen in the forest when the hunter was hunted the animal in the forest, he heard the chirping sound so he think that it was the jungle fowl so he going close and he saw something like a red cockscomb so he aim his gun but what appear out of the bush is the giant snake like with the cockscomb on it's head so he drop the gun and flee for his life. This 2 story is both the relate to "King of Naga" or "Praya Nak" in thai word(The small one is only "Naga" i think). It was the mysterious creature from Thai legend, a giant snake like with something like cockscomb on it's head(cover all of the head, not just in the middle like the chicken), from the myth it can spread high quality poison and can transform into human like and was a guardian of holy place or important place, it can divide by the size and power it is said that the most powerful one has 7 head and also appear in Buddhism relic. If to says it more clearly it's appearance is close to Chinese dragon and Japanese dragon and when i heard about this Mt.Tsurugi i think something must be connected withe these creatures for sure.
