[...] EMIEW 2: “Other new features include a unique pair of Transformer-style legs that allow the robot to crouch on its knees and roll around on an extra set of wheels for greater stability, as well as the ability to lift its feet 3 centimeters (1.2 in) off the ground to step over small obstacles. In addition, a built-in radar system allows the robot to map its surroundings and understand its own position in relation to other objects in the room.” [...]

Shoovi, complicated technology like this is going to take decades to develop. Of course early models currently being developed and tested are going to be fairly primitive and therefore toylike.

As more is learned about the technology of robots through this trial and error, more advanced robots will appear.

Someday in the futiure, we will see robots doing alot of tasks that currently are done by humans.

Oi, you blokes, roll up your sleeves and do some of the heavy lifting. You got glass arms or something?

Says the man who ALWAYS opens the stuck jam jars. Arrrr I'm so tough.
