Robot hands in the past have either been overly pretty, fragile or specialized, whereas these may not be quite as beautiful as the standard human hand, but can apply the same 15 Newtons of fingertip force and are about the same size: 18 cm from wrist to fingertip and 8.4 cm across the palm.
