Los autores han sido Jimmy Onishi y 40 escolares de primaria. Cada uno de sus cuatro tanques representa un animal marino, el pez, el cangrejo, el camarón y la tortuga. La compañía Osaka Gas decidió decorar los tanques para conmemorar los 100 años de existencia. No se pintó directamente, se hizo el diseño, luego se trataron las imágenes por computadora y se imprimió en una película adhesiva especial. Total 43.000 metros cuadrados de diseño.
