Good Morning,

Last fall I ran a free fishing contest for the children in my town, and it was a great success. We had around 50 children enter the contest, ranging in age from 4 to 16. The largest fish was a 5 pound largemouth bass. I was in close contact and support from the MN DNR which gave me a good deal of advice and suggestions on how to run the contest. They also said that I would have a better turn out if I ran the contest in the spring. Many children anxious to fish from being cooped up over the winter. So I am writing this email to ask for your help. I am trying to organize this free fishing contest for children 16 and younger, the second annual, for the Saturday May 26th, which is the MN inland water fishing opener weekend. Last years contest was a nightmare logistically trying to organize in such a short amount of time, so that is why I am starting now. And since I am not charging any fees, I have no budget to work with.

Same as last year I am planning on having it be from age 16 and under, divided into three ages groups. I have plenty of people who are willing to help me with this event, but we are in need of prizes for them.
My main demographic is a low income housing development where there are
approx 2 to 3 dozen children, but all children in Winona are welcome. My goal is to make it possible for all children to be able to fish and win some fishing gear that they normally might not have been able to.
Last year we had very generous donations, which made the children very happy. Everyone was able to take home a good sized bag of fishing gear and prizes. I was wondering if you would be able to donate for us. If you had any products, whether it is last year’s models, product defects or the like.
Anything would be appreciated by myself and the kids I am sure.
I appreciate any assistance you could be.

                            Sincerely,
Joe Busse

Thanks for the comment, Judy. According to the statement on the Tigold homepage, the company will soon be announcing how to purchase the lures. It's unclear whether they'll be handling international orders (outside Japan), but you might try clicking on the "Contact Us" button and sending an email to the address on that page. If you want, I can check the Tigold page again soon for details and post a link to the purchase page.
