Goblin Sharks have a jaw that extends from the mouth. That is the cool part. It looks like an other head popping out when they get ready to bite.

goblin sharks are way better hunters than any other shark because the have to hunt in cold dark waters! Plus they look sweet!!!!!!!!!!!:]

This looks a log like a shovel-nose shark found in South Florida near the Flamingo Bay area.Are they related?

Yes, they are very ugly, which is probably where the name “Goblin” came from. Still, it’s amazing to see a creature that is virtually the same as creatures that lived here far before humans did.

Goblin sharks are deep sea sharks and are actually really ugly when they are adults.

P.S. He is right they are pinkish whitish coler when alive then turns dull gray before turning brown and rotting.

Goblin sharks are my favorite animal.If you look up Goblin shark it shows awesome pictures of them.I read once that scientists estamate that there max length is 18 feet and they believe they are dangerous to humans.I am 11 and scuba dive with sharks all the time.IT is so cool.

squire jake you are wrong……goblin sharks are natural pink with hues of peacock blue when they are living and when preserved in alcohol or dead they turn a dull grey

wow. i cannot believe that i just spelled my area of study wrong. so ashamed! i just found a site that was advertising a birdbeak dogfish as a goblin shark. they are quite similar if you dont know what you are talking about.
